Abstract

This Study aimed to describe the implementation of character education through Pancasila and Civics Education subject at SMA Lokon St. Nikolaus Tomohon, its driving and inhibiting factors. The implementation was done based on Pancasila Student Profile, school motto, and curriculum guidelines document. Character education through Pancasila and Civics Education subject was implemented in three stages: 1) Preparation stage: lesson plan and learning contract. 2) Implementation stage: curricular and extracurricular acitivies. 3) Evaluation stage: documentation and assesment. There were some driving and inhibiting factors. Driving factors of the implementations were boarding school system, teachers engagement, values of character were integrated with the subject’s content, method, learning environtment, and teacher’s creativity to help students solve their difficulties. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors were some students lack of motivation to learn and teacher was lack of ability to use real life experience as a learning media. This study provided several recommendations: 1) Teacher needed to improve the planning of character education through Pancasila and Civics Education subject, such as prioritizing character’s values, describing each value’s indicators practically and measurable, choosing assesment method and its instrument. 2) Teacher and students needed to follow the learning contract they made together consistently. 3) All school stakeholders needed to cooperate regularly and consistently, 4) Teacher needed to improve her/his teaching skills by following training or worskhop organized by school management or by other institution.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengukur Internalisasi Nilai-Nilai Pancasila sila ke tiga Melalui Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan Terhadap Perilaku Kerjasama Mahasiswa di Universitas Bina Nusantara. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengukur pengaruh internalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila sila ke tiga dan mengukur perilaku kerjasama mahasiswa. Populasi subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa aktif yang berada di Universitas Bina Nusantara sebanyak 289 mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan sampel dilakukan menggunakan random sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berbentuk skala, yang terdiri dari 2 (dua) buah kuesioner yaitu kuesioner yang mengukur internalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila sila ke tiga dan perilaku kerjasama mahasiswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini untuk jangka panjang adalah internalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila khususnya sila ke tiga dan peningkatan perilaku kerjasama mahasiswa sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila pada sila ketiga, dan tujuan jangka pendek adalah menghasilkan alat ukur internalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila sila ketiga dan perilaku kerjasama yang dapat digunakan untuk melakukan penelitian lanjutan mengenai internalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila sila ketiga dan perilaku kerjasama mahasiswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the principal's leadership on the work motivation of elementary school teachers in Modoinding district and to find out how much influence it had. The results of the research conducted show that based on the results of the calculation of the significance test and the linearity regression test above, it can be concluded that the influence of the Principal's Leadership (X) on the Teacher Work Motivation variable (Y) is significant and linear. This is evidenced because Fcount 7.913> α (0.05). Furthermore, the regression equation Ŷ = 37.299 + 0.297 X shows that every one increase in the Principal Leadership score will cause an increase in the Teacher Work Motivation score of 0.297 at a constant of 37.299. Based on the table above, it is known that the amount of Principal Leadership on Teacher Work Motivation in Modoinding District can be 0.150 or 15 percent. This indicates that 15% of the Principal's Leadership determines the Work Motivation of Teachers in Modoinding District. Meanwhile, 85% is influenced by other factors not examined.The more principals in Modoinding District carry out their functions optimally as school managers during the Covid19 pandemic, the more teachers' work motivation will increase, where the increase is linear.

Abstract

All layers of society are very familiar with this political forum. Especially before the election, volunteer candidates and political parties will flock to make supporting billboards to support a proposal from one of the parties. According to Law No. 2 of 2008 concerning Political Parties, is an organization consisting of a group of Indonesian citizens based on the aspirations and desires of members, society, state and state, as well as the political interests of all parties. Maintaining the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. In general, a political party is a stable and neat organization consisting of a group of people who wish to have certain aspirations, ideals and ideology features. seeking power through elections to achieve alternative policies and plans. Therefore they have been compiled.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether the performance of elementary school teachers in Manado City was in accordance with the expectations of the parents. To answer the objectives of this study, researchers conducted research based on the quantitative descriptive method with Importantnce Performance Analysis (IPA) method analysis. The results of the research conducted show that based on the results of the calculation of the average performance appraisal (performance) performance of elementary school teachers in Manado City is below the average rating of expectations (Importance): 2.67 <4.21 and the performance of each variable of service quality. The results of the respondent's assessment score (suitability level) are below 100% (65.7% <100%) which means that it is not satisfactory. The interpretation of the Cartesian diagram can be explained as follows: aspects or attributes that affect teacher performance satisfaction, namely aspects of work quality (1) and aspects of communication. Otherwise. Aspects that are good and in accordance with what the community expects and their performance needs to be maintained (quadrant B) and the result is only one indicator, namely ability (4). In other words, there are achievements made by teachers, in this case, according to the parents, is the teacher's ability to carry out teaching. From the results of the research and data analysis, it can be concluded that based on the analysis of the results of the study, it can be concluded that the overall indicator of the performance level of teachers in elementary schools in Manado City based on processing and data analysis falls into the Low category which must be improved implementation.

Abstract

Purpose of this study is to determine and describe whether the students have implanted Citizenship Education in the values of nationalism in the Surabaya College of Health Sciences. The research method used is a qualitative method (research and problem) which consists of several questions, namely: 1. Student interest in civics courses, 2. Assessment of whether students have applied the value of nationalism to the Surabaya College of Health Sciences. 3. Knowledge whether or not students understand the meaning of nationalism. This research is aimed at several students of the Surabaya College of Health Sciences in semester 1, semester 3, and semester 5. The results obtained are only 38% of students who have applied and instilled the values of nationalism in the Surabaya College of Health Sciences.

Abstract

Gender relations on inter-ethnic marriage (Minangkabau Women's Case Study). Inter-ethnic marriage in Indonesia is a strategy in strengthening the integration of the nation in the modern era. Minangkabau as one of the big ethnicities is included on thissocial facts. One of the driving factors is merantau tradition. The culture of merantau allows Minangkabau people then interacts with various ethnicities and nations. Meanwhile, women in Minangkabau have a special role because they adhere to the matrilineal kinship system. They can carry out marriage with ethnicity and other tribes outside Minangkabau and maintain their traces at the same time. This cultural factor strengthens marriage patterns and affects the family formation process. The attitude of women in inter-ethnic marriage relations also plays a role in solving problems in the family. This paper discusses how Minangkabau women's strategy in inter-ethnic marriage relations in Indonesia? What factors affect Minangkabau women in choosing a partner who comes from outside the tribe? The research method used is qualitative by using the framework of the theory of feminism on the freedom and separation of the realm of Public and Private. Research uses Minangkabau women's samples who carry out marriage with the Batak, Java and Sundanese tribes that have been going on for more than ten years. The results of the study found that Minangkabau women could play an active and independent role in inter-ethnic marriage bonds. This attitude is in line with the views of feminism who emphasize freedom in choosing and acting, and the absence of separation between public and private spaces.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to empower social service as a mental education for the care of the Indonesian people during the Covid-19 pandemic. With the existence of this research data it can be used as a community service program and also a benchmark for society, especially in Indonesia, the community can empower social service during the current Covid-19 Pandemic and also this outbreak provides lessons to all people, especially the Indonesian people to open a spirit of concern. in society in order to face this covid-19 pandemic. At this time social service is still very seriously implemented. Therefore, it can be seen that when this outbreak entered the country of Indonesia from 2020 until now, the implementation of social service is very rampant by the government, organizations, associations, and others. At the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, the religious organization of the Al-Ikhlas Deltasari Mosque helped people who are well off to practice some of their assets to local residents so that they do not become haram assets and can be useful for residents who are more in need. There are several dozens of basic food packages that have been collected and ready to be distributed to residents around the Al-Ikhlas Deltasari Indah Mosque. This activity is carried out regularly every week, especially on Friday. This social service is not only in the form of basic necessities but also in the form of packaged rice, money and so on. The results obtained from the above social service activities are to help welfare, strengthen relationship with the surrounding community, foster a caring attitude among others, foster social sensitivity and provide happiness which are very important to carry out charity and social service activities, especially for less fortunate citizens. It is hoped that other communities can be inspired and raise awareness by holding similar activities. The method used in this community service program is to distribute packaged rice.
